    Description

    Are you an engineer or architect who prefers working with people and wants to lean in to your soft skills? I hope you will consider joining our small team of focused and dedicated staff dedicated to the development of Navy and Marine Corps construction and renovation projects.

    You will be responsible for determining project requirements, developing scopes, providing justification and need statements, cost estimating, scheduling, and budgets. You will provide independent, timely and professional project management services for the planning, design and construction of assigned projects for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands, including special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will apply architectural and/or engineering skills in order to produce a wide variety of facility planning products and services for high-tempo Navy and Marine Corps installations.
    • You will act as a Project Manager and technical expert over the development of project justification and documentation in support of Military Construction and Special Project documentation (DD1391s) for new facilities and major renovations.
    • You will support the development of Site Approvals (Safety).
    • You will actively communicate in both written and verbal form at multiple levels to inform, develop consensus, resolve conflicts, and gain approval.
    • You will classify the type of work (construction/renovation) to align with current federal funding regulations.
    • You will develop scopes of work (SOWs), internal Government estimates (IGEs), and labor funding requirements for contracted efforts to include negotiations.

    The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills. We will help you hone your soft skills and grow your organizational knowledge as you lead your project teams towards success.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Valid Driver's License
    • Bachelor's of Science in Architecture, Engineering, Planning
    • Must hold U.S. Citizenship
    • Aged 18 or older at time of hire
    • Males born after must be registered for Selective Service.
