Role Overview:

As an Architect at GG Homes, you will play a crucial role in developing architectural designs from concept through completion.

Your meticulous, results-driven approach and passion for architectural project management will help you succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and develop architectural designs, including detailed drawings and specifications.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their vision and keep them informed of project progress.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, designers, and city planners for cohesive and efficient project execution.
Prepare detailed construction documents that accurately communicate design intent to contractors.
Address and resolve design and compliance issues throughout all project stages.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Incorporate sustainable design principles into projects to meet environmental standards and client desires.
Ensure architectural designs meet aesthetic and functional requirements while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications:

Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
Active Architect license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in architecture, preferably with a focus on residential projects.
Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Procore.
Proven track record of managing permits and working with city officials on code enforcement cases.
Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Bonus Points:

Experience with additional design and project management tools such as Revit or SketchUp.
Experience with flips, ADUs, and development builds.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs and requirements.
