    The Job at a Glance

    Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will own the success of our implementation process for health plans and other benefit plan sponsors. You will be the face of Soda Health for sponsors throughout their implementation journey, and you will have primary accountability for project execution. You will work closely with a variety of cross-functional teams, including Growth, Product, Strategy/Solution Development, Marketing, Customer Care, Engineering, and Account Management to ensure that these projects are delivered flawlessly.

    What You'll Do

    Working within an organization created at the intersection of health care, retail and financial technology, no two days will look the same. Typical responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead the implementation of the Soda Health platform for health plans and other benefit plan sponsors.
  • Own the relationship between Soda Health and our clients during implementation, acting as their primary point of contact for all day-to-day matters.
  • Utilize project management best practices to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of client implementations.
  • Build and maintain all standard project management artifacts (project plan, risk register, RACIs, etc.).
  • Hold both internal and external stakeholders accountable to delivery dates.
  • Report out internally and externally on delivery milestones/timeline/progress/risks, and escalate where appropriate
  • Own major elements of sponsor implementations, including (but not limited to):
  • Facilitating due diligence/KYB processes with our banking partners.
  • Managing various reviews and approvals of both physical and digital collateral.
  • Defining, building, and testing platform configuration requirements.
  • Ensuring internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors are ready to launch new client programs.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams including Growth, Product, Strategy & Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, Engineering, and Account Management to ensure all aspects of client implementations are executed flawlessly, including (but not limited to):
  • Setting up program operational fundamentals such as funding accounts and dispute/chargeback processes.
  • Defining client-specific marketing and customer support needs.
  • Building and executing a comprehensive training program for client support staff.
  • Manage the handoff between Sales / Strategy & Partnerships and Implementation at project initiation and between Implementation and Account Management at project closure.
  • Build a deep understanding of Soda Health's existing tools and process infrastructure. Develop strategies to improve our overall efficiency, drive the implementation of new solutions, and ensure updated processes are aligned with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams as we work to enhance our product offerings. Act as a key thought partner to ensure new roadmap items are scoped with appropriate external partner and are set up for implementation and operational success when delivered.
  • About You

    While every candidate brings a unique resume and prospective, an ideal candidate will include:

  • 5+ years of experience working in software implementation, health benefits administration, Fintech, start-ups, or a related field. Experience working with health plans is a plus.
  • The role will be leveled as either a Senior Manager or Manger level role depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience owning positive and productive relationships with external partners/vendors, preferably in the healthcare and/or Fintech space.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver against deadlines with different teams; you thrive in shifting between implementing new clients, operating existing programs, driving efficiency improvements, and supporting new roadmap features.
  • Self-starting builder who is results-oriented, can embrace ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment; you have built and run process playbooks and can maintain a sense of urgency with the ability to adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Strong and concise communicator who can break down complex topics to drive decision making and stakeholder buy-in; you have demonstrated success creating a path to yes in the face of several headwinds.
  • Ability to balance a strong attention to detail with being able to think strategically.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military or work experience preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required from time to time as part of the role, for company events, or other business needs.
  • Soda Health is a remote-first, distributed workforce. Candidates should be comfortable with, and equipped to work within, a distributed remote team, including having reliable internet access and basic home office equipment. Soda Health will provide a work laptop, and mouse/keyboard upon request.

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $144,000 to $165,000, in a Manager/Sr. Manager role depending on experience and and qualifications, discretionary annual bonus, and Series A equity.
