    Description

    Overview:

    Project Director for OHLA USA, Inc. to report to our Queens, NY HQ loc. but working at multiple unanticipated locs in USA.

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage + direct pjct team, incl comm, coord + follow-up, to meet pjct goals + objectives.
    • Train + mentor pjct team, + coord training + compliance measures.
    • Direct report to sr mgmt. Provide ongoing pjct info + revs as reqd.
    • Def SOW, sched, + bdgt for sr mgmt., pjct team, + client. Determine controls + maintain pjct sched + bdgt, + track milestones to keep pjct on track.
    • Ident + secure approval for all changes in pjct scope, bdgt, or sched.
    • Maintain reg comm w/ client, + adjust deliverables as reqd to meet client/stkhldr needs + contract obligations.
    • Ensure compliance w/ company policies + procedures, incl safety.
    • Resp for profit/loss to meet fin + operational expectations.
    • Monitor + control all aspects of pjct, incl design, procurement, constr, E&M + commissioning, full sys integration, + indep safety cert.
    • Manage status, issues + real/target outcomes to take proactive corrective action as reqd to keep pjct on track.
    • Supervise selection of subcontractors + suppliers.
    • Manage cash-flow + cost control to optimize bdgt, forecasts + profit.
    • Little domestic travel may be involved. May undergo background checks.

    Salary range is $182,874 - $239,200 annually

    Qualifications:
    • Must have Masters in Civil Eng'ring, Industrial Engring, rel Engring or other rel field, 5 yrs rel exp working on large-scale infrastructure projects, and required skills (5 yrs exp).
    • In the alternative, must have Bach in Civil Eng'ring, Industrial Engring, rel Engring or other rel field, 10 yrs rel exp working on large-scale infrastructure projects, and required skills (10 yrs exp).
    • Required skills include: integrating complex railway systems; change management and dispute resolution within the construction industry; leading multi-disciplinary teams; and applying financial concepts to a construction environment.
