    Description


    The Controls Engineer supports the Pre-Sales, Production and Post-Sales processes by Developing, Designing, Implementing and Supporting Industrial Control Panels and Control Systems used in Fuel Management Applications.

    This person will be apart of a team of 5 people. They will be working with controls and PLCs for their products. They will complete controls from scratch or work will with existing standards and develop controls. This person will also be working on open products, building controls packages for production, assigning systems, producing, and testing.

    . * WAGO and Codesys open-source PLC Programming software- structured text * CFD
    • Computational Fluid Dynamics * Experience with Pumps, water systems, engine systems as it relates to fuel lines/ hydraulic fluid lines * Experience with one or more of the following PLCs: o Rockwell (CompactLogix), Siemens (Siemens LOGO), Unitronics (Unistream)o Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
    • AXI can train * Knowledge of UL 508a Standards
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/software engineering/ Megatronics (or a related field) with at least three (3) years of experience, or if they do not have degree, ten (10) years of related experience and/or training.
    • Experience - ladder logic and function block PLC programming
    • PLC programming from SCRATCH/developing products from scratch.
    • Any experience with process control hydraulics or fluid process control/pumps etc.
    • Ability to produce reports and updates on progress when requested by Project Managers.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Understanding of product manufacturing feasibility and DFM principles.
    • Knowledge of industry and market trends & Resourceful and team-oriented problem-solving skills.
    • Must be able to pass a background check
