Description
A client of Insight Global's is hiring a Payroll Manager to work onsite in downtown Chattanooga. This individual will be responsible for leading a mid-sized, multi-site company to a centralized payroll department.This individual will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of a new HRIS system and managing all aspects of payroll.
Additional responsibilities will include hiring and building a fully staffed department, auditing payroll processes, collaborating with various teams, and transitioning the current model to a centralized department.
The Payroll Manager will be a confident leader who possesses an in-depth knowledge of complex payroll concepts and a strong ability to develop and lead a team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to improve overall efficiency of payroll across multiple business sites.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
UKG implementation experience
Experience with prevailing wages
Experience with state-specific payroll regulations
5+ years of experience leading a payroll department
Experience implementing an HRIS System (UKG, Kronos, or Ultimate)
