    Description
    A client of Insight Global's is hiring a Payroll Manager to work onsite in downtown Chattanooga. This individual will be responsible for leading a mid-sized, multi-site company to a centralized payroll department.

    This individual will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of a new HRIS system and managing all aspects of payroll.

    Additional responsibilities will include hiring and building a fully staffed department, auditing payroll processes, collaborating with various teams, and transitioning the current model to a centralized department.

    The Payroll Manager will be a confident leader who possesses an in-depth knowledge of complex payroll concepts and a strong ability to develop and lead a team.

    The primary responsibility of this role is to improve overall efficiency of payroll across multiple business sites.

    Required Skills & Experience

    5+ years of experience leading a payroll department

    Experience implementing an HRIS System (UKG, Kronos, or Ultimate)

    Experience auditing payroll processes

    Experience hiring and building out teams

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

    UKG implementation experience

    Experience with prevailing wages

    Experience with state-specific payroll regulations


    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

    Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
