    Job Overview

    Seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor who excels in payroll administration, adeptness in HRIS system deployment, and possesses notable leadership qualities. The perfect candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years in payroll supervision, proficiency in HRIS system implementation (preferably UKG, Ultimate, Kronos, Paycom, or similar systems), and experience in overseeing payroll for medium-sized enterprises with various business units. The candidate should also have a thorough understanding of intricate payroll matters, including prevailing wages and compliance with regional employer tax laws.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Direct and oversee payroll for a medium-sized enterprise with multiple locations across the U.S. and Canada.
    • Actively participate in the rollout of a new HRIS system, ensuring a smooth transition from the old system.
    • Lead the payroll department, promoting a team-oriented and productive atmosphere.
    • Keep up-to-date with payroll regulations and maintain compliance with complex payroll requirements.
    • Engage with interdisciplinary teams, such as Human Resources, Finance, and IT, to refine processes and improve payroll operations.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
    • A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within payroll.
    • Demonstrated experience in HRIS system integration, with a preference for UKG expertise.
    • Extensive knowledge of complex payroll issues and payroll audit experience.
    • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Experience managing payroll at different locations.
    • Experience hiring and building a team.

    This role may involve occasional travel as part of the job duties. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
