    Overall Summary

    The position will be responsible for broad-based leadership responsibility over the planning processes, analytical content creation and all underlying systems and data infrastructure which will include model design, process implementation and recurring management routines to drive performance visibility across the enterprise and help drive operational efficiencies by identifying areas of improvement.

    Essential Functions

    • Lead comprehensive budget and forecast development, along with supporting models, in collaboration with Sr. Management and business subject matter experts. Scope inclusive of P&L, Cash Flow/Balance Sheet in addition to underlying operational drivers.
    • Prepare operating and financial performance benchmarking and analysis-monitor and analyze operating results against budgets, strategic plans and goals.
    • Create and improve upon all analytics related to product/technology investment returns to maximize potential profitability and return on investment.
    • Establish and lead the recurring management reporting routines that ensure the organization has actionable intelligence into the overall product cost structure and performance drivers.
    • Work with management to prepare business cases to facilitate budget preparation and measure investment decisions and proactively measure key performance indicators to recommend action against current business environment.
    • Create pricing models and analyses to understand financial impact on revenue model and profitability.
    • Prepare quarterly management committee operational report and board review materials.
    • Ability to plan, organize and lead the work of others, while developing goals and objectives consistent with corporate vision and strategies.
    • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
    • Minimum 7 or more years' experience in financial analysis with strong commercial application and business experience
    • Strong emphasis on financial skill set with extensive experience in creating budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes and tools
    • Demonstrated application experience of financial/operational/commercial analysis to drive tangible business value with an emphasis on operational analysis of profitability drivers
    • Proficiency with business planning techniques and related development of key performance indicators and systems of accountability for a large organization
    • Strong emphasis on quantitative business process analysis skills and ability to establish relationships between resources and their drivers
    • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills influencing strong negotiation and presentation capabilities
    • Exceptional analytical/financial/business modeling skills in MS Excel skills
    • Proven comprehension and ability to apply foundational corporate finance techniques to measure financial performance/returns (DCF, IRR, NPV) and strong command of US GAAP
    • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a regular basis, without sacrificing the ability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
    • Demonstrable ability to effectively work with all levels of staff and management both as a self-starter and in a team environment

    Physical Requirements

    Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

    The pay scale for this position in:

    New York, NY in USD per year is: $180,000 - $200,000.

Early Warning Services takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining a competitive salary offer, including, but not limited to, the job scope, market rates and geographic location of a position, candidate's education, experience, training, and specialized skills or certification(s) in relation to the job requirements and compared with internal equity (peers). The business actively supports and reviews wage equity to ensure that pay decisions are not based on gender, race, national origin, or any other protected classes.

    Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus, and benefits.
