- Work with Business, Architects and System Analysts to fully understand the business requirements and translate them into Conceptual, Logical and Physical models.
- Create and maintain, conceptual, logical and physical data models defining information requirements to meet end user needs.
- Partner with development and QA teams to communicate the business rules, data models and ensure test cases target the quality and integrity of the data model.
- Partner with DBAs to transform logical data models into physical database designs while optimizing the performance and maintainability of the physical database
- Works closely with DBA on the DDLs creation, maintenance and optimization of the database.
- Analytical ability and business acumen to collect multiple sources of data and draw conclusions.
- Responsible for building solutions involving large data sets using SQL methodologies
• Has strong analytical SQL experience working with dimensional modeling. - Deliver projects on-time and to specification with quality.
- Healthcare Data Expertise: 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong proficiency in understanding and analyzing claims and clinical data.
- Data Modeling: 5+ years' experience optimizing data in transactional, reporting, and big data setups
- SQL: 2+ years' experience, strong in writing and analyzing SQL queries for healthcare datasets.
- Tool Familiarity: Hands-on with data modeling tools like Erwin or ER Studio for effective model creation and management.
- Database Management: Advanced knowledge in one of DB2, MSSQL, Teradata, or Oracle databases, ensuring optimized designs for performance and maintainability in healthcare settings
