- Evaluate software solutions against requirements and recommend options.
- Enforce data governance policies to ensure high-quality data capture.
- Maintain knowledge of CFR 21 Part 11, and EMA and FDA data-related guidelines.
- Identify gaps in projects and strategies and recommend resolution methods.
- Lead the identification and implementation of lab equipment automation and data management solutions to optimize and streamline data processes.
- Assist in the analysis and troubleshooting IT infrastructure performance, identify, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with local & global IT professionals to ensure the IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to collect detailed and accurate business requirements and the creation / execution of test plans.
- Document the IT infrastructure's configuration and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and easily accessible to other IT professionals. Assist with training and documentation with new system implementations / upgrades.
- Develop meticulous test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications to ensure software performance
- Act as a key interface between the business and delivery team to ensure business needs are clearly understood, ensure communication between the parties is effective and user expectations are managed. Manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility of work patterns to meet timeframes and delivery.
- Assess the impact of change on existing systems and processes and manage their impact in conjunction with service management teams to ensure change happens in a controlled way, with minimal disruption to business activities.
- Communicate effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems
- Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, relevant GxP compliance requirements and task assignments.
- Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaborate with all levels of employees, contractors, and vendors.
