    Position Title: Project Analyst (PA)

    Location: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Response and Readiness, Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR)

    Position Summary: Cornerstone is seeking 3 Project Analysts (PAs) to support the mission of the Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR) at the CDC. The primary goal is to ensure the nation's public health system is prepared and capable of effectively responding to and recovering from public health emergencies or events. The PAs will contribute professional services to bolster public health preparedness and response activities, playing a crucial role in administering the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) cooperative agreement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management Support:

    Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.

    Coordinate project activities and communication among stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progression.

    Track project status, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

    Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and progress updates.

    Technical Assistance:

    Provide support in the development and implementation of technical assistance strategies.

    Assist in training initiatives and community engagement efforts to enhance public health preparedness.

    Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to address gaps in project execution.

    Data Management and Analysis:

    Assist in assessing current data management processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.

    Contribute to the development of reports and data visualization products to facilitate decision-making.

    Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

    Assist in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and planning sessions to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.

    Support the development of stakeholder engagement strategies to foster positive relationships and enhance project outcomes.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project plans.

    Generate regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders to track project performance.

    Ensure compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements specified in the contract.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in project management, Public Health, or related field. In lieu of a bachelors degree a candidate with 5 years of experience working for the CDC or DSLR is acceptable.

    Proven experience in project management or technical support roles, preferably in the public health sector.

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

    Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau, preferred.

    Location:

    The position will be 100% remote, with potential for in-person engagement for specific activities as needed. Ideal candidates will be located near the DSLR facility in Atlanta, Georgia; however, this is not a requirement.

    Security Clearance:

    Clearance requirements may vary based on specific tasks and projects. All necessary clearances will be obtained as required.
