    Data Science and Bioinformatics Team - Enterprise Project Facilitator

    J P Systems provides professional services for the CDC. Be part of a team influencing the future of Public Health and clinical data management by helping us to analyze and improve workflows across the Federal Government.     Responsibilities of the Enterprise Project Facilitator:

    This is an administrative position which supports the Project Manager for support of the Data Science and Bioinformatics projects. Note that this is not a project management position This is highly experienced administrative support person.

    • Interfaces with, coordinates, and collaborates with healthcare teams, management, technical teams, and other Federal agencies to facilitate successful project completion.
    • Works with the technical teams and Data Scientists to align efforts and products with business requirements and organizational mission.
    • Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
    • Performs research, and interviews, attends stakeholder meetings, recommends relevant standards, policy, and strategy, and reports on all findings.
    • Adept at requirements gathering and interfacing with clients, stakeholders, and external partners
    • Facilitating effective communication among team members and management. Keeping everyone informed about project progress, issues, and changes.
    • Support in overseeing the development of metrics and training materials, recommend project improvements and provide meeting support, collaboration, and creation of workflow planning and communications documents to support the other project teams.
    • May supervise administrative personnel, such as a Meeting Facilitator or a Program Analyst.
    • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project management within the organization.

    Project Requirements:

    • Experience with CDC liaison support and project support
    • Ensure that all analysis and presentation timelines are being met and raise any barriers and issues to the Project Manager.
    • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and conduct quality reviews when necessary.
    • Monitor the facilitation and scheduling of activities.
    • Responsible for the creation of slide decks for standing and ad hoc meetings with specific needs.
    • Skills to track project progress, generate regular reports, and provide transparent updates to the Project & Program Manager
    • Listen, identify, articulate, and alert management to current challenges, shared experiences, pain points, and goals.
    • Enforce the processes for documentation, file naming, and management, other team structural requirements. If needed, adjust, or create new documentation.
    • Facilitate focused meetings and present the related slides and materials.
    • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed.
    • Track and coordinate the team's daily workload, conduct the weekly scrum meetings.
    • Incorporate feedback and input from stakeholders to refine and improve documents and presentations.
    • Willingness to stay up to date with industry best practices and trends.
    • The ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities as the project evolves.
    • Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools may be required.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Technical Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, VISIO, or JIRA are desired
    • Virtual meeting facilitation
    • Data Visualization skills required
    • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Experienced in creating engaging and professional PP Presentations
    • Strong application of computer skills for analyzing and interpreting - Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Microsoft Office experience.
    • Personal effectiveness and credibility.
    • Highly disciplined, focused and works independently.
    • Able to multitask and handle multiple priorities with a calm, positive attitude, and professional manner.
    • Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to transform raw data into clear, understandable visual representations
    • Must be able to work with discretion and maintain confidential information.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
    • Demonstrate ability to be a self-starter and be able to work with all types of personnel.
    • Experience with data visualization tools to create compelling charts and graphs.
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
    • Must be technically savvy, and highly self-motivated
    • Virtual meeting software experience such as MS Teams or GoToMeeting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams preferred.

    Educational Requirements:

    B.A. degree or an Associate's degree plus 2 years relevant experience, or 4 years relevant experience in Communications, Information Design or a related project facilitation field is required years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

    Although we are 100% virtual, you must be located in one of our hiring states of AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, MD, MI, MN, ND, PA, TX, VA, or WI.

    A location in GA is preferred.

    Must have high speed internet connection.
