Do you enjoy making presentations to decision-makers, from CEO's and business owners to manufacturing engineers?
Do you excel at creating long-lasting relationships with your customers and distributors?

Do you have the desire and aptitude to learn new technologies and use that knowledge to qualify customers and recommend technical solutions?
Have you ever been a part of formal sales training?

Are you comfortable selling through a dealer distribution channel to promote your product?

What is the day to day like for the Regional Sales Representative
Interaction with customers or prospects
Tenaciously penetrate new accounts
Organizing your schedule for face-to-face interactions
Executing a 30/60/90 sales call routine
Present engineered solutions for customers
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and present the best engineered solutions for the customer
Maintain proper records and CRM system
Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with distributors so they promote Edge Technologies as the recommended solutions provider
What you need for this job
Associate degree or equivalent technical school education or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years of technical sales experience, preferably industrial B2B sales
Confidence and ability to sell sophisticated machine tools
Motivation and focus to help customers with engineered solutions to improve their manufacturing processes through improved productivity and optimization of resources while minimizing costs and maximizing profits
Ability to focus and strategize on a given geographical territory
Aptitude to coordinate and communicate with engineers
Ability to comprehend manufacturing processes
Ability to act as a trusted advisor for distributors, offering technical problem-solving solutions
Ability to coordinate with dealers, distributors, and clients
Willingness to learn and be a valued member of the Edge Technologies team
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Work schedule
We generally work first shift Monday-Friday and travel up to 60%
