- Design, implement, optimize, maintain, analyze performance, proactively troubleshoot, and continually improve a variety of Azure and on-prem infrastructure and services.
- Configure monitoring and alerting for Azure and on-prem infrastructure and services.
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve critical issues for both Azure and on-prem infrastructure and services.
- Create clear and succinct technical documentation.
- Possibly participate in and serve as escalation point in the future for a 24/7 on call rotation at least one (1) week per month.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud and hybrid systems that use Microsoft Azure, including computing, network, storage, monitoring, disaster recovery, and security.
- Experience with enterprise storage administration.
- Proficient with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, common IT protocols, and security principles
- Experience with OS performance tuning, troubleshooting, and analyzing log files within a windows-based environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent problem resolution and analytical skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
- There is a possibility for an on-call rotation in the future, but this has not been implemented yet.
