    We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team

    G&S Airport Conveyor is a original equipment manufacturer that supplies baggage handling solutions for the commercial airline industry. We are looking to expand our project management team. Our company currently has projects going on throughout the USA and Canada. We look forward to connecting with you to see if you would be a great addition to our team.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the design and installation phase of a project(s) in conjunction with the Project Team.
    • Administration and management of prime contracts and subcontracts; includes negotiation and awarding of subcontracts for scopes of work as well as review and evaluation of subcontractor performance.
    • Review and analysis of costs and identify revenue opportunities.
    • Prepare submittal deliverables and be familiar with project drawings
    • Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors and the onsite installation team.

    Requirements

    • Experience in Baggage Handling Systems, General Contracting and or Trade Construction
    • Experience in direct project management or project coordination of projects
    • Millwright, construction, PLC controls background an asset
    • Service and results-oriented, you are able to build and steward trust with a broad network of professional colleagues, subcontractors and team members to effect competitive excellence, pride in teamwork and outstanding project delivery.
    • Demonstrated competence in the areas of safety, workforce management, project execution, cost control, quality and administration.
    • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
    • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office including MS Project; experience with Other Project Management software programs will be considered an asset.
    • This position required travel to various airport project sites for coordination, oversight, and survey as necessary.

    Due to the nature of the work G&S carries out, our employees are expected to pass security & background checks and possess a valid drivers license to be considered for this position.
