Thompson Thrift is seeking to hire a
Commercial Owner's Representative to work out of the
Phoenix, AZ office. As the Owner's Representative, you will manage all aspects of construction projects from design and budgeting to turn over for retail, mixed-use, and industrial.

  • Quality Assurance
  • Budget & Schedule oversight and Reporting
  • Change Order Management
  • Punch List
  • Acceptance/Delivery of Possession
  • Owner Items Signage & Landlords Work
  • Handoff to Property Management
  • Tenant Coordination
  • Tenant Plan & Sign Review/Approval
  • Coordination & Delivery of Space to Tenant
  • Project Reports
  • Organize/Maintain Project Files
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Construction Management or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a construction management position.
  • Grocery and retail construction management experience.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to relate well across the organization and with clients.
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving skills are needed.
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Transactions, Construction and Tenant Coordination.
  • Computer literate with experience in MS Word, Excel, Procore, MS Project.
  • Detail oriented, purpose driven, accountable, sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Able to set and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.

The employee occasionally performs work on-site at construction work sites, office locations, and/or off-site venues.

Performing this job will sometimes require the employee to walk work sites that do not have infrastructure, this includes walking on uneven surfaces, through mud, through ruts, etc.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The noise in the construction work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is required to work in compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
