Slack is looking for a Senior Product Manager, focused on Quip, to help define the overall product strategy, make our customers successful, supports the overall business, and pave the way for a long-term transition to Slack. In this role, you'll work with Slack leadership to set the vision for Quip and partner with engineering leadership to define, implement, and iterate on functionality that is essential to our customers' success in both the short and long terms. You'll work closely with Quip's most strategic customers to deeply understand their needs and set the direction for the Quip business by building a roadmap that empowers customers to continue to scale while laying the foundation to move to Slack. You'll be working with internal and external collaborators, driving roadmap alignment across Slack teams and serving as a product expert to our customers and prospects.     • Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their unique needs across an array of use cases
    • Develop the product strategy to deliver on the needs of top enterprise customers
    • Work with internal and external partners, including customers, go-to-market teams, research and analytics, bizops, and executive leadership to understand and communicate the short- and long-term strategy for Quip
    • Oversee multiple engineering teams, driving product strategy, execution, and roadmaps that align to group level vision
    • Driving alignment with front end Quip/Slack teams to understand and prioritize dependencies to support new feature work
    • In tandem with engineering leadership, developing appropriate planning, prioritization, and release management processes to enable launch of new functionality for customers
    • Anticipate risk, and leading discussion via frequent, clear communication, both internally and with partners.
    What you should have
    • 5+ years experience as a product manager
    • A passion for Slack and the problems we are solving
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to manage complex internal and external partners and find creative solutions
    • Track record of working with engineering and partner teams: people want to work with you again

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,500 to $258,700. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $156,800 to $215,600. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $156,800 to $237,200. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,500 to $258,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
