Summary
The Wealth Management Client Sales Specialist plays a key role in supporting advisor(s) through a comprehensive service platform. They contribute to sales revenue by engaging with customers, building relationships, managing referral sources, and utilizing technical and interpersonal skills effectively. This role focuses on assessing and improving client satisfaction while ensuring adherence to operational procedures. The Client Sales Specialist takes ownership of data integrity, ensuring the accuracy of client information in source systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide general support to management, advisors, and support staff, including operating the firm's business process management system, managing files, monitoring email inboxes, liaising with the back office for processing, handling inbound calls/requests, and other assigned support activities.
- Engage extensively with clients, participating in activities related to prospective and existing clients.
- Handle account maintenance tasks such as money transfers and address updates.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team, compliance, and other business areas within the firm.
- Oversee the account opening process, ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures and obtaining necessary documentation from clients.
- Review client account activity regularly to ensure accuracy, proper settlement, and reconciliation.
- Attend client meetings, prospect meetings, and various client/marketing events.
- Organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate and execute activities like account paperwork fulfillment, account representative changes, and project support.
- Address financial advisor requests, resolve service-related issues, and manage inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with operating policies, maintain confidentiality and client privacy.
- Focus on continuous improvement and provide feedback for system enhancements.
- Utilize technology effectively to maximize its benefits.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The qualifications include:
1. 0-2 years' experience required; 2-4 years' experience preferred
2. High School diploma required (or equivalent); Bachelors preferred
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint, experience with DocuSign is a plus
4. Accurate typing, spelling & grammar skills, strong written and oral communication, organizational and customer service skills. General banking and operations experience is beneficial.
5. FINRA Licenses: Series 7, 66/63 preferred
6. State Life & Health Insurance licenses preferred
