- Lead internal communication and collaboration across departments
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, including problem-solving, timeline and financial management, meticulous organization, and servant leadership
- Work with internal and client teams to define project scopes & timelines
- Manage a variety of projects from conception through delivery, keeping client and internal teams informed on project process, details and output
- Responsible for mastering basic agency processes, developing positive client relationships and cultivating strong relationships with the integrated team
- Responsible for sharing relevant industry and competitive updates
- Lead internal communication and collaboration across departments
- Establish clear deliverables and timelines to ensure team alignment
- Manage up to Supervisors and GAD to keep leadership informed on important client and internal team updates
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the client's business to evaluate work based on strategy and objectives
- Earn and maintain a positive relationship with junior members of the client team to further agency partnership and execute tactical work
- Develop the ability to think critically in the development of new work to anticipate client feedback or technical roadblocks
- Act as financial stewards by managing out of scope and service fee budgets and billing
- 2-3 years experience in advertising, marketing or related field
- Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) required
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with different people and work styles
- Experience executing administrative and tactical account work and ability to mentor AAEs in performing those duties
- Experience leading tactical projects, including promotional or routine monthly campaigns
- Proven experience in thinking on your feet when presented with obstacles to an initial plan
- Basic presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or iWork
- Ability to learn project management and reporting tools

The Retail Media team at Trade School is one of our fastest growing business units. We're continuing to invest in building the most talented team to scale our Retail Media practice. Trade School is focused on the sell side of retail media networks; we have a passion to help retailers strategically build their media networks. Our team is built to act as an extension to our client's Retail Media team, such as The Home Depot, to play a role in building a media network that's beneficial to their company and their advertiser partners. Trade School services include executive consultation, monetization strategy, product marketing, sales enablement, marketing & public relations and more.
While Trade School is a remote-friendly workplace, this position requires a hybrid work schedule, including frequent in-person internal and client meetings in Atlanta, GA.
OVERVIEW
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for leading small to medium size jobs for the assigned client and/or project. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn from the integrated team what constitutes smart strategy and good work. AEs should have a solid understanding of basic marketing tactics, project management, and how an agency works. They should demonstrate a desire to understand their clients' business and the agency's profitability model.
