    Description

    Our client, a renowned financial services firm, is currently hiring for a Senior Scrum Master specializing in Agile methodologies. This role is to be worked in the Downtown Chicago area 3 days a week onsite, with the rest remotely.

    Responsibilities:

    • Guide delivery teams to self-organize and meet goals autonomously, without micromanaging.
    • Aid in forming Agile teams/squads.
    • Assist the Product Owner and Delivery Team, setting a leading example.
    • Lead discussions, make decisions, and resolve conflicts.
    • Continuously enhance Scrum Master skills through learning and collaboration.
    • Identify and address project risks.
    • Evaluate team Agile Maturity regularly, guiding improvement.
    • Ensure smooth sprint execution by removing obstacles and ensuring stories are ready.
    • Support Product Owner in story grooming and backlog management.
    • Proactively manage risks using Agile principles and project data.
    • Facilitate daily stand-ups, story grooming, sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives.

    Technical Requirements:

    • Familiarity with Agile PLM tools such as JIRA, Portfolio for JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various toolsets, including Jira, MS Project, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
    • Fundamental comprehension of IT infrastructure and IT systems design.
