- Developing, maintaining, and expanding business relationships with real estate agents and various other referral partners
- Attend sales meetings and networking business functions to promote brand awareness
- Manage accounts and expand business relationships
- Present strategies and training to our referral partners for increasing sales
- Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
- Work closely with Social Media team in creation of digital and social media marketing content to increase business
- Potential to manage team of mortgage professionals, including sales and operations support
- Strong personal and business relationship skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
- Proven track record of success with 10+ years of experience in a mortgage sales or mortgage business development position
- Experience with Mortgage Purchase market and marketing techniques
- Experience and ability to develop new relationships
- Working knowledge of the sales process, CRM software, preferably Velocify, and working knowledge of Encompass is helpful
- Preferred bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Excel helpful
- Ability to travel as needed
- Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
- Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
