    The

    Research Project Coordinator

    is responsible for coordinating administrative functions of research projects, including monitoring data submission and progress on project activities.

    In addition, the research project coordinator assists with facilitating meetings/trainings and communicating with staff, advisory board members, and other departments.

    Other responsibilities include, completing institutional review board (IRB) paperwork, developing work plans to monitor project timelines and supporting the development of research project materials for dissemination.

    This position will report to the Director of Research and Analytics.

    Core Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
    Coordinate Brightpoint internal communications regarding study announcements and staff orientation and training.

    Serve as the point of contact for advisory board members, program staff, and any private providers, to answer questions on program activities, implementation, and expectations.

    Coordinate with the Brightpoint communications team on dissemination plans and timelines and assists in the development of written products to publicize the study and disseminate findings.

    Assist project director and research team to solve problems and address other implementation and evaluation issues as needed.
    Coordinate logistics for meetings of research and/or program staff, advisory board meetings/orientation and staff trainings.

    Send invitations and materials, take attendance, take accurate minutes, make copies, and provide other support for project meetings, including meetings of research and/or program staff, advisory board meetings and orientation, staff training, and meetings with outside agencies.

    Create PowerPoints, charts, graphs, and other materials from information supplied by Director and research staff.

    Coordinate with agency staff to set up registration and add training materials to staff training system or creates a system for registration and attendance If necessary.

    Monitor attendance at trainings and orientations and creates and distributes reports on training/orientation completion.
    Distribute training/orientation evaluations and reviews, summarizes, and creates reports of feedback.

    Complete forms, obtains signatures, assembles other materials, and submits complete applications to institutional review boards (IRBs) by deadlines, as directed.

    Attend and participate in training related to research activities, including obtaining consent, data collection, and data analysis procedures that ensure all study activities are performed according to ethical guidelines for the conduct of research with human subjects.

    Monitor submission of data and other activities and provides reports to director to ensure that study timetable is met.

    Compensation:
    Range starts at $54,000

    Benefits:
    Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year's Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here)

    Location:

    Must be within reasonable driving distance to Chicago and available to work from home office at200 West Monroe Street (downtown Chicago loop) 2x/week.


    Schedule:
    Full-time, salaried. Regular business hours w/ some Hybrid flexibility. .
