    Republican Jobs is searching on behalf of an agency specializing in strategic communication and public relations services. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Deputy Communications Director.

    Job Description:

    As the Deputy Communications Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic communication plans that align with our organization's objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting compelling narratives to convey mission and initiatives, overseeing digital and social media content and engagement, and facilitating effective internal communication within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategic communication plans aligning with organizational objectives
    • Craft narratives to convey mission and initiatives to diverse audiences
    • Manage social media accounts and social media postings
    • Oversee digital and social media content and engagement
    • Facilitate effective internal communication within the organization
    • Maintain a professional demeanor in all communications and interactions

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
    • Five years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in media relations and crisis communication
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
    • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Knowledge of the education sector and policy issues is advantageous

    Salary and Benefits:

    Our client is offering a competitive salary package commensurate with experience, starting at $65,000, along with healthcare, benefits, and other perks.
