CRYSTAL STEWART

Crystal Stewart, B.S.N., R.N., is the Health Educator at Tulsa Technology Center in Tulsa, OK. She previously served as a med/Surg nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Stewart was also the nurse educator for Saint Simeon's Episcopal Home and a charge nurse at Montereau retirement community. Before moving to Tulsa, OK, she resided in Chicago, IL, where she served as a case manager at Catholic Charities- Roseland /Altgeld Adolescent Parenting Program. Stewart earned her B.S. in Community Health from Eastern Illinois University, B.S.N. from the University of Oklahoma, and has completed her Master of Healthcare Law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

As an educator, Stewart has taught hundreds of front-line healthcare professionals. In addition to teaching, she has engaged in numerous interprofessional health initiatives, including partnerships between Tulsa Technology, the Alzheimer's Association, and Clarehouse.

She brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, including currently serving on the Executive Board of Directors for Clarehouse. Stewart emphasizes collaboration across many initiatives to address community health. She believes that healthcare and education are fundamental human rights. She dreams of living in a world where everyone has healthcare equity. Stewart was awarded The Khader K. Hussein Award in Palliative Care in 2021.
