    Summit Irvine currently has an open position for a Program Manager. Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

    The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating efforts and communication for Summits strategic and highest revenue customers in the aerospace & defense industry. This position works in close contact with field sales as part of a team to support the customer. While this position requires typical day-to-day customer service support, it also includes expanded responsibility to act as the central point of communication, information, and strategic input regarding the programs of the strategic customers. Another major requirement of this position is to disseminate information on customer programs internally and manage the agenda and logistics for customer visits to our factories. Limited travel to supplier events is expected.

    Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, a preferred candidate will have a college degree or a minimum of two (2) years experience in the printed circuit board industry or an appropriate level of professional work experience outside the industry, demonstrate a high level of proficiency in verbal and written communications and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Be proficient in Excel, with a strong knowledge of formulas, functions of various tools.
    • Maintain good communication with the customer on job status, including conference calls with the customer as needed.
    • Provide revenue forecasts on specific programs that the company is engaged in.
    • Summarize background and news updates on key programs.
    • Develop knowledgeable of customer programs and potential revenue significance to the Company.
    • Participate fully in customer visits to Summit factories and customer-hosted events at customer locations.
    • Work closely with the customer to review Summit scorecard performance and clear Summit from inaccurate metrics in the scorecards.

    Required Skills:

    • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
    • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organization and presentation skills.
    • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
    • Should be honest, assertive, and systematic.

    Education/Experience:

    • College Degree
    • Two years (2) prior experience in Inside Sales / Customer Service in the printed circuit board industry or Military Veteran.

    Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.

    Pay Range for this position is $50, $100,000.00 annually based on experience.
