    Description

    We are seeking a proactive and organized Operations Manager to oversee logistics operations in our office setting. This role involves managing transportation, warehousing, and inventory, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.

    salary: $23 - $25 per hour
    shift: First
    work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
    education: High School

    Responsibilities

    • Logistics Management: Oversee all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
    • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
    • Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors and third-party logistics providers, ensuring compliance and optimizing service levels.
    • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
    • Performance Monitoring: Establish and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.
    • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
