- Manage food costs and labor expenses, implementing cost-effective strategies to optimize profitability without compromising on quality.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to source the freshest and highest quality ingredients, while also exploring opportunities for local and sustainable sourcing.
- Collaborate with restaurant management and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination and execution of service, delivering exceptional dining experiences to every guest.
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment, preferably with expertise in Peruvian cuisine or Latin American cuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles, with a passion for exploring and innovating within the realm of Peruvian gastronomy.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with staff at all levels.
- Fluency in English as the primary language and proficiency in Spanish.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institution preferred.
- Proficiency in menu planning, food costing, and inventory management software.
