    HR Generalist / Manager - Seattle, WA

    Summary:

    Metro One is looking for a HR Generalist / Manager. This position will oversee personnel related functions including: recruitment, employee relations, performance management and policy development. This individual will ensure compliance with labor laws, handle employee grievances and foster a positive workplace culture. Additionally, our HR manager may coordinate training programs, manage benefits administration and contribute to strategic planning for organizational development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial in this role.

    HR Generalist / Manager Requirements:


    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources


    • Minimum 4 years of talent acquisition experience


    • Minimum 4 years in HR Generalist roles


    • Minimum 4 years Employee Relations experience


    • Minimum 4 years Litigation experience


    • Minimum 4 years travel experience.


    • Multi State Experience including CA, WA, OR


    • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements.

    HR Generalist / Manager Pay & Benefits:


    • Salary Range: $100k-$120k/yr

    HR Generalist / Manager Daily Duties:

    · Act as primary POC within a geographic region on all Human Resources matters.

    · Responsible for facilitating positive employee relations and resolving complex issues on behalf of the company with workplace investigations.

    · Provide counsel and advice to operations team leadership including Regional Directors, Performance Managers and Account Managers.

    · Partner and provide guidance to field leaders, TA team and HR Specialists in the interpretation of company policy and make sound recommendations on employment matters.

    · Ensure compliance on wage and hour issues in accordance with state and city requirements.

    · Ensure compliance with post orders, uniform requirements, retraining and licensing requirements for all applicable states.

    · Provide support related to the administration of FMLA/Leaves of absence and ADA Reasonable Accommodations

    · Provide support to Talent Acquisition team, reviewing new hires for compliance within HRIS system.

    · Assist in the review of Pre-Employment backgrounds and adjudication including Adverse Action notifications.

    · Maintain standards relative to overtime performance through effective scheduling and by supporting Recruitment Strategies.

    · Respond to agency/legal complaints partnering with Legal Counsel as appropriate.

    · Partner with Corporate Learning and Development team on new and ongoing training requirements and tracking

    · Coordinate with managers, employees and Work Comp team on work related injuries and assist in reporting and return to work efforts.

    · Ensure compliance to post orders, uniform requirements, retraining and licensing requirements.

    · Communicate changes and updates to labor laws ensuring understanding and compliance in the field.
