    The JM&A Group is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who is ready to dive into the world of financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis that will help us drive our company towards unparalleled success.

    Responsibilities

    Create financial forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business initiatives.
    Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant information for accurate forecasting.
    Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts.
    Provide insights into trends, opportunities, and potential risks affecting the financial performance of the company.
    Customize reports to address specific needs of different departments or levels of management.
    Analyze scenarios and perform sensitivity analyses to assess potential outcomes.
    Produce a scenario-based long-range plan that allows management's decision-making flexibility.

    Be a subject matter expert on financial models and technical financial knowledge to consult with stakeholders on various model outputs such as EPM and EVA templates used for capital expenditure requests.

    Continuously improve financial models and reporting solutions by studying and proposing changes in methods and materials.

    Deliver quality and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting that adds value to both the operational and strategic decision-making process.

    Show technical finance knowledge, modeling capabilities and be viewed as a strategic partner to the finance organization and business partners.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, accounting or economics
    5-7 years of work experience in the related area
    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
    Strong project management skills, including organization, planning, and execution
    Consistently provide high-quality work to SVP/EVPs
    Able to present to senior leaders, discuss analytics, and provide data-based views that may differ from leadership views
    Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
    Confidence to bring up data gaps and provide insights into why
    Challenge ways of working and strive to continually elevate
    Strong financial knowledge to connect business levers to macro-economic and external trends and recommend actions
    Ability to work effectively in both team and self-directed environments
    Demonstrate intellectual curiosity
    Advanced Excel and Oracle EPM skills preferred
    Experience with Essbase is preferred
