- Lead the design, implementation and administration of all competence and benefit programs - oversee the administration of all employee benefits programs to include health plans, open enrollment, retirement plans, leave administration, communication, employee assistance program (EAP) and other employee related benefits.
- Research innovative compensation methodology, industry trends and technology to benchmark against company practices, analyze appropriate salary and wage survey information.
- Partner with finance and accounting leaders to ensure accurate estimates, forecasts and calculation of compensation and benefit expense for budget planning and tracking; develop fiscal year budgets, performance standards and metrics to optimize use of company resources.
- Provide Human Capital Consulting to clients within the organization in the development of HR solutions through the alignment of business strategies and HR initiatives to achieve overall organizational objects.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of programs, special projects, research studies and other initiatives to identify best practices and process improvements to promote functional efficiency and productivity.
- Negotiate with vendor or administrator for renewal - Manage vendor relationships to ensure programs are following all regulatory agencies and annual testing requirements related to ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, IRS, DOL and all other regulatory agencies. Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws related to benefits and reports/recommends changes to leadership.
- BS in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5-7 years benefits experience.
- Must have Labor Relations experience.
- Proven skills in planning and organizing, communications, teamwork, creativity, and innovations are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and computer skills.
- Requires strategic thinking and the ability to identify industry trends and emerging issues in health and welfare.
- CEBS and SPHR/PHR certification preferred.
