- Beauty/Cosmetic Business Development both within existing territory and with new prospects. Build sustainable long-term relationships.
- Understand/define customer needs and be proactive in proposing and co-developing solutions that align with core competencies, while understanding competitors and proposing solutions to overcome competitive barriers.
- Develop and implement annual sales plans by Customer to achieve agreed sales and revenue goals.
- Collaborate and communicate internally with the Project Management Teams, Local and Global Sourcing Teams, and Technical Sales Teams to win and manage sales projects.
- Represent company at trade shows and industry meetings to promote company's services.
- Regularly meet with clients to build/maintain relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Consistently provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 5-10 years of direct sales experience in primary packaging for the beauty industry,. Turnkey (packaging and formulation) sales experience, a big plus.
- Current/very recent selling relationship with a large cross-section of leading beauty brands with an understanding of key competitors within the beauty packaging industry.
- Outstanding relationship building and negotiating/closing skills.
- Strong strategic thinker with top-notch analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Previous project management experience, a big plus
