    Job Summary:


    The Senior Data Analyst will be a key player in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports.

    This role is crucial for developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

    The analyst will be adept at acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
    • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
    • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
    • Filter and "clean" data, reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
    • Validate data from new and existing sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
    • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical abilities.
    • Experience with data cleansing and manipulation.
    • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel required
    (for example:

    using lookup functions and or creating a pivot table)

    • Hands-on working experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
    • Familiarity with analytics software or scripting a plus (e.g., R, Python)
    • Experience in building automated ETL or data integration processes using multiple source systems.
    • Proven experience in building relationships across the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to find solutions to complex problems.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to leadership effectively.

    Education and Experience:

    • University degree preferred.
    • 2+ years' experience in, financial and operational, data analysis
