- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filter and "clean" data, reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
- Validate data from new and existing sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical abilities.
- Experience with data cleansing and manipulation.
- Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel required
- Hands-on working experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with analytics software or scripting a plus (e.g., R, Python)
- Experience in building automated ETL or data integration processes using multiple source systems.
- Proven experience in building relationships across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to find solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings to leadership effectively.
- University degree preferred.
- 2+ years' experience in, financial and operational, data analysis
