    Intrepid Studios is looking for a passionate and talented Helpdesk Support Technician, interested in with a studio creating brand new worlds, with a brand new IP. Skills must include the ability to clearly communicate with users at all levels of the organization from artists, engineers, producers, executives, and respond to a variety of helpdesk requests. Proactive, highly motivated individuals welcome.

    Responsibilities

    • Teir 1 response and triage to IT tickets.
    • Basic administration and troubleshooting of desktop, laptops, and other hardware.
    • Resolving user issues effectively and in a timely manner.
    • Own IT onboarding of newly hired team members.
    • Performing diagnostic tests and proper troubleshooting.
    • Troubleshooting VPN issues.
    • Assist/troubleshoot users in person and remote.
    • Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems as needed.
    • Documenting processes and technical knowledge.
    • Build, modify, and repair custom computers.
    • Receive and verify incoming shipments from various vendors/partners.
    • Facilitate shipping of IT items via UPS.
    • Organize studio's tech storage facilities.
    Requirements
    • 2+ years' experience in IT support in a PC/Windows environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software.
    • Basic understanding of networking.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
    • Experience in documenting processes.

    • 30 min interview with a member of our Talent Team
    • 60 min interview with the Hiring Manager and Team
    • Final interview with the Executive Team
    • References calls & a background check

    The Legal Bits:

    We offer competitive pay based on market standards plus a significant annual bonus structure. The base salary for this role is between $48,000 - $67,000, depending on skills and experience. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.

    Founded in 2015, Intrepid Studios is the independent developer and publisher of the upcoming and Most Anticipated MMORPG, Ashes of Creation. Based in beautiful Southern California, Intrepid has assembled a veteran AAA team of tremendous talent and experience in the MMORPG industry. The gaming industry can be a turbulent storm of hiring cycles and layoffs.
