    Your role as the Head of the Corporate Group and Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

    The New York Fed is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of the Corporate Group and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will ensure full alignment with the Banks strategic priorities to Simplify, Innovate and Lead.

    As a member of the Executive Committee, the Head of the Corporate Group and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will direct and coordinate the activities of the Group in accordance with the Bank Mission, Vision and Values while also being an active participant in the development of the Banks broader strategic efforts. As a champion for talent, they will inspire, support, and develop the team, ensuring they are agile and responsive to change, can conceptualize the Banks needs and have the skills to manage and achieve desired results in a highly dynamic environment, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.

    Reporting to the Banks First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, the Head of the Corporate Group and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the Group in building upon the Banks enterprise support capabilities by delivering strategic value to the Bank with a strong focus on customer service and execution, with responsibility to:

    • Oversee teams responsible for financial performance reporting, developing accurate financial statements, procuring goods and services through fair and competitive processes, advancing supplier diversity opportunities, and ensuring a strong internal control environment.
    • Be a visible and active sponsor to the new Cash Service Center program.
    • Bolster the third-party risk management capabilities in connection with Enterprise and Cyber Risk
    • Effectively communicate, advocate, and proactively advance the principles, values, strategy, and priorities of the Bank, bringing managers and leaders along in their understanding and ability to align and execute accordingly.
    • Provide the highest quality service and execution of operational responsibilities and ensure that all governance and control requirements are achieved to the highest standards.
    • Collaborate with colleagues across the Federal Reserve System on committees and advisory groups focused on vision and strategy for financial management and other initiatives.
    • Partner with colleagues within the Bank and throughout the Federal Reserve System to identify and address business needs, using influence and empathy to build relationships by earning trust and confidence.
    • Build on the Banks culture of collaboration, diversity and inclusion, and public service in providing an environment that allows employees to grow while being their authentic selves.

    • Proven experience successfully executing within large and complex environments.
    • Track record of successful leadership to drive results and proactively manage change in a complex and dynamic organizational, and operating environment.
    • Strong collaboration skills, a focus on positive intent and an interest in ensuring strong relationships with an ability to partner effectively with others in the pursuit of common goals.
    • Emotional intelligence, including the ability to build trust in a variety of relationships through candor, reliability and authenticity as well as the capacity to embrace and draw from diversity and inclusion to improve the quality of outcomes.

    The Bank believes in work flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person. Employees can expect to be in the office a couple of days per week as needed for meetings and team collaboration and should live within a commutable distance.
