    Chief Financial Officer

    We are seeking CFO with 10+ years of experience to join our manufacturing client, located outside NYC. This client is PE-backed and seeking a seasoned leader to manage a small team, working closely with the CEO to develop and execute the financial growth strategy of this company. He or she will play an active role in M&A endeavors.

    Proven success managing mergers, acquisitions and post-close integration is key. Prior experience reporting to private-equity ownership is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage the financial strategy and oversee a small team executing daily operational accounting and finance
    • Lead cash management and treasury functions, maintaining excellent banking/finance relationships and managing accurate and timely reporting requirements
    • Maintain budgeting and forecasting, managing short and long-term cash forecasting and requirements
    • Perform extensive financial modeling and analysis around pricing strategy, estimates and job costing; develop and present ROI analyses for capital equipment purchases
    • Design and implement internal controls, manage tax compliance and planning for the annual audit
    • Partner with CEO to capture organic growth and to pursue M&A opportunities, providing leadership throughout the process, including leading system and team integrations and improvements
    • Ad hoc projects may include setting up new divisions or business line structures, updating/integrating new software packages or billing/tracking protocols

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA, MBA or CMA – highly preferred
    • 10+ years of experience working with PE-backed companies
    • 5+ years of buy and sell side M&A experience
