Medical Records Clerk 

• Maintaining, organization, cross-referencing, scanning, copying, make sure that documents they are given are stored and labeled correctly for later use

• Create labels for files and create physical files for new cases 

• Maintain the order and labeling of the centralized filing cabinets

• Assist  chief executive officer, supervisors and employees with finding Visiting nurse services, centerlight, Integra, archare, senior health, ICS,MJHC insurance companies documents and dienal 

• Checking incoming paperwork correspondence, invoices and making copies before distributing

• Place materials into storage receptacles, file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to classification and identification information

• Sorting all papers documents in alphabetically in order or according to content, dates, significance

• Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified 

• Creating or updating records with new files and information from health insurance companies 
• Disposing  documents in  paper shredder
