- Candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient files and responding to requests for medical records.
- Support Primary Care Physicians and in-house specialists at a busy medical center.
- Maintain patient files and retrieve files for scheduled appointments.
- Process letters and reports, as well as respond to requests for medical records in a timely manner.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained and keep records in compliance with company policies and federal, state and location regulations.
- Perform other duties as needed, such as, physician calls, and follow up as directed with letters to different agencies and other provider's offices.
- Candidate must be bilingual - English and Spanish and have previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
