    Role Overview:
    This position is an on-site opportunity, located in De Pere, Wisconsin.


    As an IT System Administrator, you are responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.

    Your role involves overseeing hardware, software, and servers, as well as troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

    It's essential to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to effectively fulfill this role in a dynamically changing IT environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    System Maintenance:
    Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and security.
    Monitor system performance and resource utilization to optimize efficiency and prevent downtime.


    Server and Desktop Management:
    Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems such as Windows Server, Windows 11, and Linux.
    Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to safeguard sensitive data and resources.

    Office and Building Technology
    Install, configure, and maintain door access system for all sites.
    Install, configure, and maintain printers for all sites.
    Install, configure, and maintain conference room equipment and other office technology equipment.
    Technical resource for Company Meetings.


    Software as a Service(cloud) Management:
    Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services, users, policies, and controls.
    Configure and maintain Azure, services, containers, subscriptions, and other functionality.
    Configure and maintain a variety of third-party solutions that integrate with Microsoft platforms.


    Security Implementation:


    Implement and maintain security measures on systems, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to protect against cyber threats.

    Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.


    Technical Support:
    Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users to resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
    Document and escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support or vendor support as necessary.


    Disaster Recovery Planning:


    Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.

    Test and update disaster recovery plans regularly to reflect changes in technology and business requirements.


    Documentation and Training:
    Create and maintain documentation such as system configurations, procedures, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
    Conduct training sessions or workshops to educate users on IT best practices and security awareness.


    Collaboration and Communication:


    Collaborate with other IT team members, including developers, helpdesk technicians, and data analyst, to implement integrated solutions and resolve cross-functional issues.

    Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on IT projects and initiatives.


    Qualifications and Skills:


    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or 4+ years of similar occupational work experience to this role).

    Proven experience in system administration or a related IT role.

    Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS), and server technologies (e.g., Active Directory, Apache, IIS).

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

    Relevant certifications such as:
    Microsoft 365, CompTIA Server+, or similar are preferred.
