Description

This person will work directly with the owner of the company in purchasing, purchase order management, customer service, quoting, inside sales and most other aspects of the company.

Currently the administrative staff includes the owner and yourself. The ideal person would be able to grow into managing a team as the company adds people.

TBC Metalworks is a contract metal tube bending and welding company based in Green Bay. The company makes a wide variety of items like hand rails, bike racks, farm equipment components and more. The current owner purchased the company two years ago and has aggressive growth plans.

Job Details

Higher level

Create and refine efficient work processes
Find and execute ways to improve business processes
Opportunity to learn all about how a small, but growing business operates and a chance to influence all aspects of the company
Expand use of JobBoss2 ERP
Work with owner on ways to grow company
Work with production on organization and efficiency projects

Day to Day

Primary customer contact for all day to day customer needs
Receive and enter purchase orders, communicate with customers regarding POs
Enter orders in JobBoss2 ERP system
Manage purchasing raw materials, select suppliers and determine best buying strategy.
Create job packets
Answer calls to the company (typically less than 5 per day)
Respond to customer requests
Create quotes for customers
