    As a Supply Chain Process Analyst with KBR Science & Space, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our procurement and supply chain processes. You will be responsible for maintaining and refining Power BI dashboards, facilitating process improvement workshops, and owning deliverables like process documentation, reports, data analyses, and ad hoc reporting. This role requires a strong analytical background, expertise in data modeling, and a deep understanding of procurement and supply chain operations. You will build business cases for improvement initiatives and track the impact of changes, contributing directly to the strategic goals of our organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing business and data management processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, with a focus on enhancing data architecture and management, and applying controls to process enhancements
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of supply chain KPIs and metrics, while providing actionable insights into data management practices
    • Take ownership of delivering comprehensive reports and data analyses, supporting strategic decisions and improvement initiatives by providing a clear narrative and visualization of data trends
    • Provide ad hoc reports as required, offering insights and recommendations to the management team, ensuring a proactive approach to data utilization and decision-making
    • Construct detailed business cases for process improvement initiatives, clearly articulating potential benefits, costs, and impacts, including the implications for data management and reporting systems
    • Report directly to the Principal Manager of Operations Excellence and ensure proper strategic alignment, prioritization, and messaging of initiatives and analyses
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented changes, tracking performance against project goals and organizational objectives, thereby reinforcing the data-driven approach to continuous improvement
    • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to implement process improvements and provide necessary analysis, and controls
    • Maintain and automate regular reporting in the interest of performance management and procurement's alignment with business development and operational requirements
    • Take a lead role in defining requirements and planning of automation initiatives as part of the operations excellence team
    • Apply Agile project management methodologies to support of operations excellence initiatives
    • Engage in ongoing professional development to keep abreast of the latest analytics techniques and project management methodologies, ensuring a high level of expertise in data management
    • Perform other related activities as required, adapting to evolving data needs and contributing to the overall strategy of operational excellence

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A four-year degree in a quantitative discipline such as Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
    • An understanding of procurement and supply chain KPIs, reporting standards, and best practices
    • 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain fields, with a proven track record of success
    • 3+ years of professional experience performing detailed analytics and data modeling
    • Experience using Power BI or a similar data visualization tool for dashboard maintenance and data visualization
    • Professional exposure to process improvement and project management methodologies
    • Experience with large ERP systems, including procurement workflows and data extraction
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and effectively present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

    It's a plus if you have any of the following:

    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint

    WORK LOCATION - Houston, TX

    New hires will have an initial work schedule of Monday-Friday onsite at our KBR offices to complete required training plans for this position. Upon successful completion of the KBR training plan, the team hybrid work schedule of 3 onsite days (M-W-F) and 2 Work from Home will be transitioned.

    New hire training is anticipated to require 7 days for successful completion, as applicable by individual staff role.

    Periodic onsite training days will also occur, may require a temporary adjustment to the team hybrid work schedule.
