Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Analyst at Park Avenue Finance located in New York, NY. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, conducting analytical tasks, preparing financial statements and reports, and providing financial analysis support. This role is located in New York, NY, with the flexibility for some remote work. We are open to a variety of work environments and prioritize availability. The role will be consistent for the first year with ample opportunity to grow professionally and to generalize or specialize on areas of interest within the firm.

Qualifications

Financial Planning and Finance skills
Analytical Skills and Financial Analysis
Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
Strong knowledge of finance principles and concepts
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and on teams
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Relevant internship experience highly preferred
Accounting, Banking, and Consulting backgrounds preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts receivables, accounts payables, and payroll processing
Assist reporting team with monthly closing of books
Prepare documents and reports for PAF investors
Maintain financial records and document filing systems
Assist with the production of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in Excel
Assist with tax filings
