    Property Accountant - Yardi Pro needed

    About the Company and Opportunity:

    • Our client is a respected property management firm in the Portland Metro area, seeking to expand their team with the addition of a Property Accountant.
    • The position reports directly to the company's VP of Residential Property Management.
    • The company promotes a dynamic, collaborative work atmosphere and boasts a supportive team.

    Role Overview: Property Accountant

    • Assist with the migration to Yardi, coordinating with Yardi representatives and property managers.
    • Manage the setup of new properties, including the creation of a chart of accounts.
    • Facilitate ACH setup for new clients with newly established bank accounts.
    • Leverage Yardi software to maintain accurate financial records and carry out daily accounting tasks.
    • Generate and analyze financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, budget comparisons, and bank account reconciliations.
    • Manage the opening of books and month-end close procedures.
    • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory policies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Expertise in Yardi software is essential
    • Experience in property management accounting is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Positive attitude and a collaborative spirit
