    **Job Description**

    AECOM is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to be based in Phoenix, AZ.

    This position is expected to begin in May 2024.

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    + Works with a variety of technical and marketing staff

    + Works under general supervision and collaboration with the Business Development Team

    + Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

    + Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    + Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English with an emphasis or specialization in Social Media

    + Must have completed 3 years of study

    + Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    + Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and Twitter

    + Knowledge of social media publishing platforms

    + Ability to work remotely using web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration

    + Understands marketing and communications

    + Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business

    + Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools

    + Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers

    + Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    **Additional Information**

    + Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

    + Sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.

    Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $20.91/hour - $28.74/hour.
