    Description

    General Purpose of the Position:


    The purpose of this position is to assist by performing any tasks associated with credit card purchasing and planning of materials and/or services necessary to support the business needs and objectives of Switch Procurement Department.

    Work will be assigned by both the SVP and Operations Manager. Position will directly report to the Procurement Operations Manager.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Draft purchase orders when necessary and ensure material delivery or service completion from vendors
    • Expedite and liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods or services
    • Ensure continuous communication to provide updates to appropriate departments as needed
    • Order materials through company Credit Card purchases, track item delivery
    • Work with receiving teams as needed to resolve shipping errors, improper handling, or quality issues
    • Resolve billing and shipping problems and provide information to vendors
    • Complete, organize and file all necessary documentation in both personal inbox and Procurement Drive
    • Schedule and maintain calendar as needed for SVP
    • Maintain department credit card receipts in Concur for submittal

    • Display a positive attitude through behaviors and demonstrate supportive problem-solving skills

    Computer Equipment and Software:

    • Experience with various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and DocuSign
    • Working knowledge of JD Edwards a plus, but will train if needed

    Education and Experience:

    Education:
    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Experience:
    Office administration experience a plus
