    Job Summary:
    The Materials Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the movement of materials within the organization. They will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials to meet production and customer demands. The Materials Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to plan, order, and track materials, and maintain appropriate inventory levels.


    Schedule:

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and execute the procurement of materials and supplies to support production and operational needs.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and usage.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to forecast material requirements and plan accordingly.
    • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Inspect incoming materials for quality and verify accuracy of quantities received.
    • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
    • Coordinate the disposal or recycling of unused materials.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control strategies.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Materials Coordinator or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and procedures.
    • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
    • Problemsolving and analytical capabilities.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
