Start your path to a WGNSTAR career today WGNSTAR is currently recruiting an HR Coordinator/Specialist to support onboarding, orientation and other related HR activities for our US-wide organization in support of our Core Values.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday The principal duties and responsibilities will be: + Works collaboratively with the HR Team and management to manage all activities supporting onboarding, orientation, badging interface, I-9s, benefit administration, HRIS maintenance, and pre-employment screenings to ensure a positive employee and client experience.
+ Support administrative and maintenance transactions in WGNSTAR and/or client systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and process controls in place.
+ Support scheduled reporting requirements and metrics as assigned. Preparation of reports and audit documentation as needed. + Guides and collaborates with management and employees in support of WGNSTAR culture and Core Values. + Ensures compliance with data privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property requirements and best practices. + Supports day-to-day functions of the HR department in a multi-state environment as required.To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have:
+ 1-2 years prior experience in HR or administrative roles. Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus. + Proficiency in HR Software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Paylocity or Fieldglass is a plus. + High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills + Ability to effectively communicate and strong interpersonal skills. + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. + Able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities. + Able to work collaboratively and effectively with other staff, employees, and managers. + Strong sense of urgency in both action and communication. + Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity; ability to exercise appropriate judgement.
Physical Effort/Activities:
On a continuous basis will work in an office environment, sit at desk for a long period of time, intermittently answer telephone and use a computer to communicate.
On an occasional basis in the performance of duties, may be required to walk, stand, drive, and lift up to 25 pounds.
