    within the Technology Innovation Administration (TIA) is currently seeking a Management Analyst 5 to support communications for our team.

    This is a great opportunity to work with IE&E Program leadership, partners, staff, and impacted groups to develop standardized work practices while improving access to health and human services statewide.

    The Washington State Health and Human Services Enterprise Coalition (HHS Coalition) is a collaborative that provides strategic direction, cross-organizational information technology (IT) project support, and federal funding guidance across Washington's HHS organizations and is committed to developing a modern health and human services integrated eligibility solution to best support Washington residents and our staff.

    The Coalition operates over 75 health and human service programs serving over 2.9 million Washingtonians.


    In this role, as a Management Analyst supporting communications, you will lead in internal communications for the IE&E Program team and impacted staff.

    This involves managing the communications calendar, updating and creating webpages, preparing presentations, reviewing and drafting written communications, and coordinating and facilitating meetings with IE&E partners.

    You will also conduct research and work closely with the IE&E organizational change management (OCM) and communications team to enhance communication channels based on feedback from impacted groups.


    Some of what you'll do:


    Research and write content for a variety of communication channels, including websites, presentations, project documents, reports, talking points, blogs, social media, marketing materials, and media notifications.

    Provide direct writing and editing support on written communications throughout the program.
    Establish, manage, and maintain key performance indicators and success metrics, and present results identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
    Lead and collaborate on product/project communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
    Organize and manage cross functional meetings with IE&E partners to keep them informed about the program.
    Manage program email account, handling receipt, response, and tracking of all IE&E emails.

    Who should apply:
    A bachelor's degree in business or public administration, public administration, communications, or a related field.
    Equivalent education and/or experience (organizational development, business/management analysis) is acceptable to meet this requirement.

    AND
    Five years of professional experience in communications and research/data analysis or leading business projects.

    Highly skilled in both verbal and written communication with diverse audiences including executive leaders, staff, external organization, community partners, customers, and more.

    The ability to develop content that is technical and plainly written including presentations, blogs, websites, documents, reports, etc.
    Experience working in SharePoint Online (or similar) with the ability to create pages and update content.

    Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and collaborate with other organizations, teams, business partners, community partners, and contractors working with diverse groups to ensure goals and outcomes are met.

    Solution-oriented, excellent attention to detail, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
    Self-motivated, problem solver, ability to adapt to new conditions, deadlines, and assignments.

    List other skills and abilities:


    Understanding of state government organization, operations, and administrative procedures; federal and local government functions; state and federal laws and regulations governing personnel actions.

    Process improvement training or certification (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
    Project management experience and/or training/certification.
