DSHS Management Analyst 5
The Management Analyst 5 is located within the Adult Protective Services (APS) Division, within the Aging and Long-Term Support Administration (ALTSA) and reports directly to the APS Deputy Director.
As the Management Analyst 5, you will play a critical role in providing expert analytics, consultation, and data support to APS and the divisions across ALTSA.
The administration will rely on you for analysis to identify areas for process improvement and trends based on data gathered from completed quality improvement and assurance reviews for program integrity.
You'll have statewide responsibility for data analysis, research project analytics, responding to program integrity reporting needs, and ad-hoc data requests from each division within ALTSA as well as key stakeholders.
This is the only role of its kind providing data analytic support and expertise related to quality improvement and program integrity activities to ALTSA leadership and field.
Some of what you'll do:
Produce complex analysis and reports which track and trend statewide program integrity and quality improvement outcomes and areas for improvement.
Prepare data and reports.
Provide expert advice and consultation related to quality improvement and program integrity data to executive leadership.
Develop an on-going process to maintain quality data.
Ensure data is collected on a timely basis, reports are analyzed and distributed, and make recommendations for future improvements based on data gathered.
Through complex analysis of reports, quality tools and various data sources, provide consultation to executive leadership related to the cause of quality issues.
Conduct research, prepare and present complex data through statistical and narrative reports, graphs, charts, and other formats.Coordinate activities across multiple programs, departments, or functions.
Present data and facilitate discussions related to information.
Develop and maintain tools for conducting quality improvement activities, track measures and report out regularly.
What we're looking for:
Professionals with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, public health, health administration, or a related field and five years of demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:
Conducting research
Analyzing policies, laws, rules, and regulations
Conducting business analysis and developing requirements
Leading business projects
Managing business operations
Business policy development
